If you are a law firm owner or entrepreneur, there is no shortage of coaches, marketers, and other professionals willing to separate you from your money. Sometimes you can find valuable insights from them, but you have to “pay” for their best stuff.
For associates and trainees in wealth transfer services, especially law firms, there is unfortunately not as much guidance. Why? Because you are not (yet) a profitable product. But, at some point you might become a partner/equity owner, or go out on your own, or pivot to a different firm. There is a lot you can do to ease this transition.
So, this is an introductory episode where I discuss lessons I’ve learned along the way, mistakes I’ve made, and things I wish I had known when I was a law firm associate. While this is designed to help law firm associates (as a somewhat underserved class), the guidance I share can apply to anyone.
