Why subscribe?

Let’s be honest. You can simply bookmark this page and read it occasionally. And, if I were you, that is probably what I would do. The last thing I want is more e-mail clogging my inbox.

But, if you do subscribe for free, there are benefits above and beyond just simply receiving e-mails with my articles when they are published. For example, once or twice a month, I host office hours. By subscribing, you get first dibs at signing up for one-on-one or group sessions with me. (Note that in these sessions I am not able to give tax or legal advice.)

A paid subscription gives you access to exclusive article series, along with courses I produce and even more exclusive one-on-one office hours opportunities. Each year I put out 3-4 paid courses, and eventually these courses will be provided for continuing education credit. For now, if you want to take your learning to the next level, a monthly or annual subscription can be a great value-add. Even better, I offer a group discount if multiple members of your firm wish to register. And, I know we live in an age where subscriptions are annoying, which is why I have selected a platform through which it is easy to cancel anytime.

About Me

As long as I can remember, I have loved public speaking and teaching. As a tax and estate planning attorney, I set out to find creative ways to make this a part of my career. After many years of teaching for others, through a variety of continuing education providers and the College for Financial Planning, I decided to take the knowledge base and voice I had developed to launch a YouTube channel on intermediate and advanced tax and estate planning topics.

But, even in a world of video and digital soundbites, I realized there is still an appetite for the written word. This newsletter is designed to supplement my video content, while also diving into esoteric topics which cannot be as effectively explained in a video or audio format.

Importantly, I love presenting to groups - whether virtual or in-person. The greatest thanks you can provide is recommending me as a speaker for your group’s or conference’s upcoming programs. I frequently present to estate planning councils, bar associations, FPA chapters, and similar groups. I have also developed and delivered in-house training for private firms. Please reach out if you are interested in hosting me as a speaker.
